Dr. Olga Wingate came from a medical family and dreamed of being a doctor since early childhood.
She graduated from Medical University in Russia in 1999. Olga obtained the Australian Medical Council Certificate shortly after arrival to Australia.
Dr Wingate has been working in multiple rural and major metropolitan hospitals(Southern Health: Monash Medical Centre, Berwick Hospital, Dandenong Hospital; Mildura Base Hospital, Korumburra Hospital) and clinics within Victoria(Korumburra Medical Centre, Phillip Island Medical Group and Marina Medical Centre).
She finished her General Practitioner training and has been awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Olga enjoys the myriad of different facets of her work in General Practice.
Her special interest in medicine is in preventative health, women’s health and geriatrics. She enjoys providing a continuous care to patients, seeing patients through to recovery from acute illnesses, pursuing answers to complex problems, reassuring patients with minor problems.
Dr Olga also speaks Russian fluently.
She likes to provide care in all aspects of patients life from medical to psychological and social issues.
Olga is married with two children. She enjoys photography, traveling, art/oil painting, keeping fit and spending time with her family.
