Dr Ehab Mostokly graduated from Medical University in Egypt in 1985. He obtained a Masters Degree in Paediatrics.
He migrated to Australia with his family in 2004 after working for 20 years as Paediatrician, GP and Medical Administrator in Egypt.
He completed a Diploma in Paediatrics at Westmead Children’s Hospital, NSW & became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
In 2009 Ehab was awarded Australian New Rural Doctor of the Year for his dedication to the community and contribution to teach international medical graduates. Some of his patients still travel from Gippsland to visit him at Ballarto Medical Centre.
Ehab has a keen interest in Quality Practice Improvements. In 2018, he became an Accreditation Surveyor. Ehab enjoys the opportunities this role presents and enjoys visiting other clinic and meeting new people.
Ehab is also a tutor for overseas trained doctors and he takes great pride in assisting international medical graduates in their preparation for the AMC exams.
Ehab is also an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Ehab has a passion for teaching. He is the lead clinical and educational supervisor at Ballarto Medical Centre for GP Registrars on the AGPT Program. He is also a tutor at Monash University for Year 4 Medical Students and mentors them for placements in the practice.
Ehab has excellent experience as a family doctor and special interest in Paediatrics.
Ehabs hobbies are travelling, swimming, reading and playing chess. He also enjoys family time with his 3 adult sons.
Besides English, Ehab speaks Arabic fluently.
Dr Ehab offers a mixed billing service. He bulk bills all children under 16 year of age as well as health care card and pension card holders.
