Changes will be made to our policies & procedures around walk in appointments effective tomorrow Wednesday 18th August.
This is due to high volumes of patients & extensive waiting times.
We aim to offer a quality service & need to make these changes in order to do so.
All routine non-urgent care will require an appointment moving forward. This includes but is not limited to repeat prescriptions, results, referrals, WorkCover consultations, Pap smears, vaccinations etc . These services all require an appointment booking. You cannot attend the clinic to see a doctor without an appointment.
We cannot see New Patients without appointments as we need time to discuss your medical history.
Exisiting patients requesting to see a doctor as a walk in will be triaged by staff. Only matters deemed appropriate for immediate care will be accommodated without appointments.
We will continue to accept walk in appointments for illness, unwell children, work place injuries and minor emergencies. These will all have the required COVID triage in place.
We apologise if this disappoints anyone but please be assured we have made this decision in the best interests of our patients and doctors in order to provide a quality service .
