Spirometry is a common test used to assess how well your lungs work by measuring how much air you can inhale, how much you can exhale & how quickly and how effectively air can be moved in and out of the lungs.
Spirometry is used as an aid to diagnose asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary fibrosis and cystic fibrosis and other conditions that affect breathing.
